TESTIMONIALS
I’ve been giving this a lot of thought lately. Very often I receive an elated thank you email after a session filled with kind words and praise. It seems to be common practice to post these testimonials on one’s website as proof of skill. I don’t disparage this practice, but still there’s something about it that doesn’t sit right with me. Of course I want someone who’s considering a session with me to know that I am good at what I do, but I feel uncomfortable using words meant for me from another patron to advertise myself. Sessions are very personal and very private and I feel that it would be a betrayal of trust to post a discussion about a session — no matter if permission is given by my patron. So if you are on the fence about contacting me and are looking for some sort of review before you do, then you are out of luck. You will just have to speak with me and judge for yourself. But you can most certainly rest assured that discretion and respect for your privacy is held in the highest regard.
